Industrial Waste Symbiosis in Sindh: Turning Waste into Resources

Yesterday, “Industrial Waste Symbiosis in Sindh” seminar was held at Salim Habib University, Karachi, organized by the Sindh Higher Education Commission’s Directorate of Strategic Planning.

Throughout the day, policymakers, industry representatives and academics came together to discuss how industrial waste across Sindh can be turned into valuable resources for other businesses. The seminar was divided into three sessions, covering policy and regulation, industrial mapping and technology, and research implementation, each bringing forward practical ideas from different corners of the field.

Participants shared their experiences and offered suggestions on building a more resource efficient and sustainable industrial environment for Sindh. The day wrapped up with a shield distribution ceremony, followed by tea and informal conversations among the guests.
