One-Day ORIC Training Workshop on Skill-based Incubation Ecosystem for Universities of Sindh 20th May 2025

The Sindh Higher Education Commission Karachi successfully organized a comprehensive training workshop titled “Enabling Universities through
Skill-based Incubation Ecosystem” on May 20, 2025 at Institute of Business Management (IoBM) Karachi. The event brought together academic
leaders and entrepreneurship development professionals from across Sindh to enhance university-based incubation capabilities.

Dr. Gulfam K.K. Baghoor, Founder and CEO of Skillsrator, served as the principal resource person for the day-long training program. Dr. Baghoor
conducted four intensive sessions focused on developing robust skill-based incubation frameworks within universities across Sindh Province.

The training program featured detailed case studies of two successful incubation models: B-ICON, recognized as the first sustainable
incubation center at NUML University, and Skillsrator’s innovative approach to skill development. These real-world examples provided
participants with practical insights into establishing and managing effective incubation ecosystems.
