COMMITTEE AND PROCESS OF SINDH RESEARCH SUPPORT PROGRAMME
About the programme:
In order to promote research and technology in the public sector Universities of Sindh, the Sindh Higher Education Commission, Government of Sindh invites innovative and marketable research proposals from accomplished, strongly motivated regular (PhD or FCPS/ MCPS/ FRCS) faculty members of Public Sector Universities / Degree Awarding institutes of Sindh province,
Process:
1) An Experts’ Committee is constituted comprising of technical experts from 07 thematic areas which are Natural & Physical Sciences, Medical & Allied Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and IT & Computer Science headed by the Chairman of expert committee.
2) Advertisement is published in newspapers for inviting proposals for research in the aforementioned thematic areas from the faculty members of public sector Universities / Institutes in Sindh
3) The proposals are placed before the Technical Experts’ Committee for, their review and consideration. Following is the composition of the Committee:
