Sindh HEC Organizes First-Ever Workshop on Patent Claim Drafting

Sindh HEC successfully organized its first-ever hands-on workshop on “Patent Claim Drafting and Intellectual Property Protection” at Al-Kawthar University, Karachi, bringing together faculty members and ORIC professionals from universities across Sindh.

Chairperson Sindh HEC Prof. Dr. S.M. Tariq Rafi highlighted the importance of protecting research and transforming innovative ideas into commercially valuable intellectual property.

Experts from IPO-Pakistan provided practical training on patent claims, filing procedures, patent specifications, and common drafting challenges, along with an interactive “Patent or Not Patent?” session.
