CONFERENCE, SEMINAR AND SYMPOSIUM
The Sindh HEC recognises the significance of academic activities and research in universities and value the sharing of knowledge. It places great emphasis on fostering a research culture in higher education institutions and supports holding of national and international conferences, seminars and symposiums through funding. For fiscal year 2022-23, the Sindh HEC has allocated Rs. 50 million.
Proposals received for such events undergo a rigorous scrutiny process by a designated committee of experts. In the financial year 2022-2023, the committee approved 15 proposals for organising international conferences and seminars.
