4th Sindh Research & Technology Showcase-2025
Karachi – Dated 22nd and 23rd January 2025:
The 4th Sindh Research & Technology Showcase-2025 was a resounding success, with over 1000 students and around 350 industry leaders and entrepreneurs attending the event at Hall-6, Expo Centre, Karachi.
The highlight of the 2nd day was the keynote speech delivered by the Honourable Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, who emphasized the crucial role of innovation and technology in driving economic growth and improving energy resources in Sindh. He stressed the importance of preparing students for the modern job market, adapting to automation, and strengthening industry-academia linkages to ensure the youth are well-equipped for the future.
The event, organized by the Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC), brought together researchers, innovators, and industry leaders to showcase cutting-edge projects and initiatives aimed at addressing some of Sindh’s pressing challenges.
The Guest of Honor, Mr. Saquib Fayyaz Magoon (Senior Vice President, FPCCI), thanked Sindh HEC, the Chief Minister, and the Sindh Government for their efforts in organizing such a significant event.
The Chairperson of Sindh HEC, Prof. Dr. S.M. Tariq Rafi, expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for his support and encouragement, applauding the participants and organizers for their dedication to innovation and development.
This year’s showcase has truly been a remarkable platform for bridging the gap between academia and industry, inspiring collaboration, and nurturing the future of Sindh’s innovators.
