Procedure for Distributing Grant-in-Aid to All Public Sector Universities
The Grant-in-Aid Distribution Committee, comprised of designated officers, manages the distribution of financial aid according to the following steps:

Initial Communication: The Committee collects specificdetails from all Public Sector Universities such as available resources, revenue streams, the total number of enrolled students, ongoing expenditures, and any other grants received. Universities are expected to complete this proforma and return it for the Committee’s evaluation.
Committee Review: After receiving and assessing the filled-in proformas, the Grant-in-Aid Distribution Committee submits their recommendations to the Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC) for further scrutiny.
Sindh HEC Evaluation and Approval: The Sindh HEC, upon reviewing the Committee’s recommendations, drafts a summary that is sent to the Chief Minister of Sindh’s i-e. Competent Authority for final approval.
Budget Allocation and Quarterly Distribution: Once approval is granted, the finalized grant-in-aid amounts are recorded in the budget book. Subsequently, these funds are distributed on a quarterly basis to the respective public sector universities.
