Faculty Development Program

Module III: IBA, Sukkur – 30^th May to 4^th June, 2022

The “Faculty Development Program” launched by Sindh HEC aims to enhance the quality of teaching in both public and private sector universities. By providing professional learning opportunities and promoting teaching innovations, the initiative strengthens the teaching profession in Sindh. The program includes a comprehensive six-day training comprising 17 sessions that cover various aspects of teaching, communication, on-line tools, quality assurance, ethics, and professionalism in higher education.

Last year, around 150 newly appointed faculty members from public universities received this training, benefiting from the expertise of seasoned professionals.

The training sessions were held between May and June 2022 at three designated centers, allowing the participants to learn from experienced resource persons and interact with faculty members from other universities. The initiative reflects Sindh HEC’s commitment to fostering excellence in teaching and academics across the province.
